The increasing levels of man made Co2 have been benefiting the natural environment, including the human and animal populations since the industrial explosion in the last 2 centuries.  Among the benefactors from the increase in CO2 are the earth’s natural ecosystems as well as the increase in global food production.

Much maligned by extremist groups, Co2 is singled out as the the great global warming deliverer.  This though, is just not true. It simply isn’t profitable to openly state the truth.

To begin with, a pollutant CO2 is most certainly not. Excreted by plants, which also excrete oxygen, in our drinks and even our own breath, the idea of ‘getting rid of CO2’ should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

Touted as the main case for climate change global warming heretics have instead chosen to ignore critical analysis and science. Specifically, more than 31,000 scientists. (4)

There are over 20 different climate change drivers, including but not limited to solar heat, solar magnetism, plate tectonics, aerosols & the earth’s very own tilt. (1) These drivers are shown to operate at time vastly varying times scales thereby exerting their respective influences on climate change over millennia.

The climate hysteria stirred up has only really been around a couple of decades at best. In 1999 empirical evidence supported the fact that changes in atmospheric Co2  FOLLOWED temperature changes and not the other way around.

The claim that Co2 causes a temperature change is null and void in the face of this evidence. After all, a cause does not follow an effect. (2)

The average global temperature has varied between a narrow range of 3°C in the last 3,000 years & the earth is indeed warming up. It is in fact recovering from a Little Ice Age (about 1° Centigrade below the 3,000-year average.)(3) In light of this,  increasing temperatures are not only the rational consequence following on from this little ice age but a welcome one too.

This warming  up in the earth’s temperature is notably reflected by  the shortening of world glaciers. Glaciers though, shorten & lengthen  in a “delayed correlation with cooling and warming trends.”

This then, is indicative that our current warming trend would have started in 1800 or thereabouts.  While global warming is often punished as the cause for glaciers melting, the primary cause of this is in fact solar radiation. (3)

H2O water vapour though, while not maligned by the green hysteria,is a prominent greenhouse gas which amplifies the warming of the earth. The warming effects of Co2 however, are negligible.

The last 7 decades have seen a global increase of more than 22% of Co2 and the consequential environmental effect is simply stunning.

As articulated by more than 31,000 scientists, (3)

“Atmospheric CO2 fertilizes plants. Higher CO2 enables plants to grow faster and larger and to live in drier climates. Plants provide food for animals, which are thereby also enhanced. The extent and diversity of plant and animal life have both increased substantially during the past half-century. Increased temperature has also mildly stimulated plant growth.” (3)

In 1998,  31, 487 scientists who do not have the ear of the main stream media have been petitioning the US government  to correctly reject the global warming propaganda which proposes all greenhouse gases are detrimental to our existence as a species and planet.  (4)

The petition further clarifies its stance “There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”

Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”(4)

After all, 31, 487 scientists can’t all be wrong.
